Every dancer starts with a first step. We want your first step to be with us, and our friendly team.
Learning to move and dance can be so much fun, but it can sometimes be a little unnerving. Learning in a classroom is a little different to shaking your hips in the kitchen to your favourite top 100; but that doesn’t mean it shouldn’t be just as fun. Our beginner classes provide a friendly and welcoming environment for you to start your dance journey in. All of our instructors and your fellow classmates know what it’s like to learn something new, and they want to make it as easy and enjoyable for you as possible.
We have a range of beginner options for dancers just starting out; multiple styles and multiple venues, on different days. All of our classes change their focus at the start of each calendar month and are presented by professionally qualified and experienced instructors with a wealth of dancing knowledge and a passion for helping people achieve their dancing goals.
The dances you can look forward to learning in our Ballroom For Beginners Classes are:
Modern Waltz, Slow Rhythm, Cha Cha, Rumba, Waltz Oxford, Parma Waltz, Canadian Three Step, Evening Three Step, Tango Twogether, Royal Empress Tango, Merrilyn, Yvonne, Mayfair Quickstep, Prog. Barn, Prog. Jive, Prog. Samba, Prog. Oslow, and Prog. Hucklebuck.
You do not need a partner.
